Diese9 Mobile Application Data & Permissions

  • Local Processing & Device Access: The dièse9 Metronome application operates primarily locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal telemetry or location data to our servers. The application does not request access to your device’s microphone and does not record audio.
  • Custom Audio Uploads: The application allows users to import custom audio files (e.g., custom clicks or Impulse Responses). These files are stored and processed strictly locally on your device. We do not upload, sync, or access your imported audio files.
  • Ableton Link Integration: If enabled, Ableton Link uses your local Wi-Fi network to broadcast and receive anonymous clock synchronization data to discover other Link-enabled devices. No personally identifiable information or audio data is transmitted over the internet to Ableton, MB Diese9, or external servers.
  • Crash Reporting (Opt-In): To improve app stability, we use Google Firebase Crashlytics. This service is disabled by default. If you explicitly opt-in, the app will send anonymous crash reports (containing device state, operating system version, and crash traces) to help us identify and fix bugs. You can revoke this permission at any time in the app settings.
